Warning- Lasers Can and Will do Permanent Sensor Damage

This is something I did not know....I was reading in CanonRumors.com forums about a user who was getting horizontal and vertical lines in his images, and it turns out, that especially when recording video or shooting in live view when the sensor is exposed for long periods of time, that direct laser light will damage and ruin your sensor.
