Apertus Axiom 4K Camera |
| This is a great time for aspiring film makers. Companies like Red, Canon and Sony all have 4k cameras out right now that are very affordable compared to some 10 years ago where the only way to get the same results was with VERY expensive film cameras. Another new camera is in development that could be even more affordable with a lot to offer. The Axiom camera, developed by a group called Apertus, will shoot at 4K, shoots up to 150fps @ 4k, 15 F-Stops Dynamic Range and at a price point of under $10,000. Its still in development and no test footage has been released, but it does have some promising features.
